About the Authors
These E-Books are written by a team of experienced economics lecturers from Faculty of Economics and Management, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia with years of expertise in teaching and curriculum development at the univerisity level.
Dr. Norlida Hanim Mohd Salleh
She is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Her academic focus includes tourism economics, resource economics, and environmental economics. She has contributed to research on the efficiency of paddy agriculture in Indonesia and the socio-economic aspects of palm oil smallholders in Malaysia.
Dr. Azmafazilah Jauhari
She is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, specializing in economics with a focus on international trade and econometrics. She has been a lecturer at UKM since 2000 and has contributed to numerous academic publications, including studies on efficiency in the banking sector and trade linkages in Malaysia's electrical and electronics industries.

Dr. Norain Mod Asri
She is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She specializes in Public Economics, focusing on public sector economics, consumption, and family economics. She has contributed to various publications, including studies on consumer behavior towards sustainable food choices, women's leadership in STEM fields and cointegration between public expenditure and revenue in selected sectors.
Dr. Fathin Faizah Mohd Said
She is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She specializes in monetary economics, banking systems, financial network modeling, energy economics, and environmental economics. She involved in various research initiatives, such as modeling the volatility of rubber prices in ASEAN-3 and investigating the impact of financial innovations on money demand.
Dr. Nafisah Mohammed
She is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Her research interests include industrial organization, financial management, and the economics of tourism. She has contributed to various publications, such as studies on consumer satisfaction in Malaysia's commercial football field industry and the impact of foreign direct investment on economic complexity in APEC countries.
Dr. Norshamliza Chamhuri
She is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, specializing in consumer behavior, agribusiness marketing, and retailing. She has contributed significantly to research on consumer perceptions of food quality and the impact of eco-labels on consumer behavior.
